HTML2MP4 is built around a simple promise: what happens on your Mac stays on your Mac.

Data we collect

None. HTML2MP4 does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data.

We have no server.
We use no analytics SDKs.
We use no advertising SDKs.
We include no third-party tracking.
There is no account and no sign-in.

What happens locally on your Mac

The HTML/CSS you load and the MP4 you generate are processed entirely on your device. Generated videos are written only to the location you choose in the macOS save dialog. Nothing you enter or render is sent anywhere.

Network

HTML2MP4 does not require an internet connection to convert your content and does not upload your HTML or video. If a document you load references external web resources, those requests are made by the rendering engine to display your content; the app itself does not transmit your files.

Children

HTML2MP4 is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy, we’ll update it here. Because we don’t collect data, there’s little that can meaningfully change — but if Apple’s policies require new disclosures, we’ll add them.
