This Privacy Policy describes how the app “THE RUN” handles user information.

What data we collect

None.

THE RUN does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

We do not use analytics services.
We do not use crash reporting services.
We do not use advertising networks.
We do not use tracking technologies.
We do not require an account or login.
We do not access your contacts, photos, location, microphone, or camera.

Data stored on your device

THE RUN stores the following information locally on your device only, using the operating system’s standard preferences storage:

Your best run duration
Your last run duration
Total number of runs
Active run timestamp (so the timer can resume after backgrounding)
In-app purchase entitlement state (locally cached)

This data never leaves your device. Deleting the app removes all of it.

In-App Purchases

THE RUN offers an optional In-App Purchase (“Restore Run”) processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not handle, store, or see your payment information.

The app provides a “Share” feature using the native iOS / Android share sheet. The content you share is controlled entirely by you and the recipient app you choose. We do not see, store, or process any shared content.

Children

THE RUN does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. The app is suitable for all ages.

Even though we do not collect personal data, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to:

Confirmation that we do not process your data (we do not).
Erasure of any data (none exists on our side; deleting the app removes local data).
Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the revised policy.
